Hamas claims responsibility for West Bank attack.

I'm not wasting any more time with you, you are just repeating the same things over and over again.

They are a "minority" of the population (closer to 50%), but this means nothing. The fact remains that among those who can vote, Palestine's government would be just as likely to be made of a genocidal terror organization as not. And among those who can't, they are probably more popular, but they can't vote and aren't old enough to anyways so it doesn't matter. Your equivocating makes no sense and has no relevance.

You're just increasing the percentage every time you post a comment. It makes sense in saying that if a minority of the population votes for a person, that person is not necessarily representative of the majority of the population.

Olmert claimed Netanyahu made Hamas stronger because his policies got it more support. Nowhere in that article did it say a word about funding. Nor is there any evidence that he's right.

Hamas is a creation of Mossad to counter balance the PLO

It's not an emotional appeal at all. It is a fact. If things were flipped, Hamas would destroy Israel. Those are their own statements and attempts speaking for them. It's not about emotion at all.

And Israel at the Oslo summit stalled it to the point of no deal. Starving a country out is less visceral but still just as bad as whatever hypothetical genocide Hamas would commit.

Likud's charter called for no Palestinian state, which was contradicted by its leader and changed. It wasn't removed from the Internet. You can still read the old platform, which was written up decades ago. But it was replaced and that part was left out.

And the Hamas charter is also said to be outdated

What confuses me is how you compare not allowing a Palestinian state to be created with a pledge to kill Jews, including civilians. How do you compare the lack of a state to genocide? That requires mental gymnastics of the highest order.

Through acts of policy Israel is pushing Gaza to the point of no return. It is words versus practice.
