I was already working that much before we got together and I kept working that much so she could stay home. As time went on I found myself to be the only one working at all! Raising kids is way harder than the work I was doing and there is no days off from that. When the kids would call me at work and ask if they could do things bc their mom was glued to her phone and literally ignoring them is when things started to become a problem. To this day my kids don’t ask her for anything. She can be down stairs in the same room and they will knock at the bathroom door while I’m in the shower to ask if they can go outside and play, or if they can grab an ice cream cone. She is invisible to them. Her mom would fly in and ride her ass for two weeks at a time to get off her ass and do things. It was terrible when I decided enough was enough.
