He shot radioactive wolves, dropped acid – and now he backs Nigel Farage

“Westminster is meant to be full of experts and where have they got us? Nowhere. They have refused to enact the will of the people and people are sick to the back teeth of so-called experts because they exist in a world of self-interest and aren’t interested in what the common person thinks.”

I can't stand this sort of disingenuous pandering. It's not that they aren't interested in what the "common person" thinks, it's that the demands and expectations of the common person are frequently impractical and unrealistic.

This bloke, rather than making that clear, sees an opportunity for personal gain and is going to keep indulging people's fantasies for as long as it benefits him before disappearing and leaving others to clean up the mess once it all comes crashing down.

What, though, are its policies?

“Nigel has said that he will lay those out after the European elections,” he says.

Great, so he's either winging it or his policies are so bad that he'd rather run without any at all than allow people to see what they are.
