How did you lose the genetic lottery?

On the outside I look like I pretty much won, and my family has always been relatively healthy and long living, but the shit we do get is pretty awful to live with but won’t really kill you. Lots of stomach problems like ulcers, eye problems like early onset glaucoma, asthma (varying degrees of severity), internal cysts, and mental health issues as well as being prone to alcoholism and drug addiction. We also are great athletes but we always get severe injuries and fall apart before we get to the pros, except for one of my cousins who actually made it and played a decent amount of time but tore his knees up a ton. Oh, and Alzheimer’s is usually the thing that puts us out of our misery.

Personally, I am 23, I have the stomach problems, I’ll probably get glaucoma since I’m already starting to have eye problems, mental health issues galore (BPD, anxiety, depression, the latter two tie in with the first one), I’m probably an alcoholic, and I used to be a great athlete before my body quit on me and I tore apart my shoulders, hips, and knees.
