How do you feel about Hong Kong migrants?

question gets asked every other week alongside the Aus can nz UK alliance question, this is a reflection of the types of people that use Reddit.

90%+ of answers are usually positive as Reddit subs are echo chambers. there was an UK opinion poll on this issue last year, around 60% of brits were positive on hk migrants.

Unless they know you personally, the average British person cannot physically distinguish a Hker from a mainland chinese or a Korean or vietnamese, Thai etc , so your advantage in being a "hker' is lost by spikes in corona racism and general sinophobia which hkers will be blamed for, saying "but I'm not chinese, I'm hker!" won't work.

eg, A HK activist who fled to the UK was beaten up with a bloodied head.
