I gave my best friend's first girlfriend a fair chance, I really did, but she continually proved herself to be a complete cunt.

So one day I finally said, "look dude, you're my best fucking friend. She's a cunt. She's manipulative and she lies to you and uses you. I absolutely hate her. She is a terrible person. You do whatever you want, all I'm saying is that if you're hanging out with her, don't text me. I don't want to see her face or even hear her stupid fucking voice. If you guys aren't hanging out, give me a shout and we'll do whatever. But I'm telling you, this relationship is a mistake."

Everytime we hung out for the next 3 years was when they'd get in an argument and he needed to vent, or she would break up with him for a couple weeks. He had an extremely low self esteem and couldn't bring himself to pull himself out of that relationship.

I told him straight up, "She was in a relationship when she asked you if you wanted to start dating. And while she was in this other relationship, and starting to talk to you regularly, she blew one of your closest friends in the back seat of a car while someone else drove them around. This IS NOT THE GIRL FOR YOU. She's a fucking tramp dude."

So finally one day he finds out that she's been cheating on him and he was fucking heart broken. I got a bunch of guys together and we took him out to the bar and we all let him know, that if he is ever stupid enough to take her back when she inevitably tries to get back together, we will all kick him in the balls, every day, until he breaks up with her. And she has tried to fix it, multiple times since, even messaging him while she's in relationships again. Or as soon as she finds out he has a new girlfriend, he'll get a message from her about how much she misses him and can't stop thinking about "how there life together would have been."

My best friend is now with an incredible girl who treats him amazingly and they have a beautiful 5 month old son together.

He started hanging out with her and immediately invited her out to meet the family. (The "family" being our super close group of friends.) We gave her the approval and they started dating shortly after.

Ever since that first girlfriend, my friend said he will NEVER give a girl a chance that his friend's don't approve of ever again. He'll never put himself through that horse shit.

I still get riled up when his ex's name is spoked. His current girlfriend thinks it's hilarious how much I absolutely hate that girl. But fuck her, she's a total fucking cunt and my best friend is the nicest guy in the fucking world. Fuck her for hurting him like that and wasting years of his life. Fuck her for causing him that pain.
