I think stuff like that is situational. I’m currently in a loving relationship with my boyfriend of 4 years and I occasionally check my ex’s Facebook. It’s been 6 years since we were together. I just do it cos I’m curious though. It hurt when it was still fresh, but we were young and immature and it was a long time ago. We both moved on. We’ve become friends again though not really close, like maybe two years after we broke up. He cheated on me and apparently he has cheated on every single girlfriend he had after me. I was hoping he would change for his sake. Cos I honestly feel bad for him. I don’t think he’d find happiness if he doesn’t change his ways. Right now, he’s in a relationship again. And hopefully he doesn’t mess this one up cos the girl is really nice and sweet.
