How do y'all work out of depression episodes or funks?

Find something you enjoy and do it.

Don't feel like doing it? Find something else to occupy your time.

I've been going through depressed funks for the past year and some change.

I generally like playing a musical instrument, but I haven't felt like it so I got into cooking. I don't cook every day, so I'm trying to find other things to do to occupy my time. I bought a whole bunch of books off Amazon and I'm going to get back into reading.

Most important thing is doing something positive and stop getting in the funk of surfing the net or watching TV.

Nothing wrong with doing that, but I would say put those things into your schedule and do something specific, don't just zone out
