How's Star Wars: The Old Republic doing these days?

I just picked it up over the holidays trying to scratch some RPG/MMO itch. I had never touched it before apart from watching my friend play it at launch.

Story: I'm ambivalent? I started the Imperial Agent because it seemed pretty unanimously praised for its story. I got to the 2nd planet and then I got bored. I don't think this means the story is bad. I think the other parts of the game greatly affected my enjoyment. I was in the city, my objective was all the way across the map where I hadn't unlocked any Taxis and I just said fuck it. I got to around level 22.

Solo: From my experience, pretty damn. From what I read, its alot easier now. You can solo level by playing the main quest only now. Plus, the companions have additional roles so you can set them to healer and pretty much tank all the story content you run across.

Story Content: There are 8 classes, 4 per side, all with unique stories and companions plus 3 DLCs (free for subs) all of which provide additional story. I'd say there is a ton. One thing I've picked up on is that it rewards your completion of other stories through a "Legacy" system. You can unlock account wide perks depending on the other characters you have and how far they have progressed. It looks like it tries hard to reward alts.

Thing is, I don't think its that different from WOW, and not enough to keep me interested and coming back. I play it and I want KOTOR3. My best friend plays it and he loves it though, however he was big into WOW (also KOTOR). I think if you balance your expectations, that this is an MMO with a focus on story, so shit fetch quest, ability bars, grindy gear ladders, then you will have an enjoyable time.
