IamA Neuroscientist who studies how cannabis interacts with opioids… AMA!

I'm 20 years old and started smoking very heavily when I was 16. From that time I have smoked every day, multiples times a day. I would like to know why my brain function hasn't been damaged. I am currently a double major for finance and accounting and going to get my masters in accounting. I can do highly complicated work very very high on marijuana and I don't know why. I understand tolerance build up but it's not like I don't feel the euphoria that I have always had.I just don't feel the slowness everyone else does. In fact I feel the connectivity of my brain increases. I could smoke 20 bong hits in a row study for a federal tax exam for two hours, get in the high 80s and never feel slowed down. Is there something different about me? The one thing I have noticed is that my anxiety and paranoia are threw the roof. Almost feels like I'm a functioning paranoid schizophrenic. I have 5 responses to 30 different scenarios constantly bubbling in my head. Other people don't worry about shit like I do. I feel like I see way more details around me than anyone else and think way longer term than my peers. Could cannabis have caused this? The attention to detail I find myself exhibiting is sometimes abnormal
