People love parroting "it was an event for whales"

But y'all realize a lottery is literally the most fair system to distribute legendaries to the player base right..

If it was for whales there would be no 7 dollar boxes and it would only be 18 dollar skins. Only a whale could afford to get multiples.

Meanwhile. Your average Joe could sit down and roll a lucky pack & get a super rare skin. Great for him. He would have never been able to pay 18 bucks for it but was able to get two free pulls. Then it's 7 bucks for another.

Seems fair. We want these skins to be cool right? Scarcity is how you do it. And a lottery is the fairest way to give everyone a chance. People just want stuff for free or cheap but then these cool skins will end up defaults (like that wraith BP skin that had literally no barrier to entry so now every wraith has it & it doesn't feel very legendary. Anyways there's something to challenge your opinion
