Inven reaction to Riot ruling. Just bad timing for Riot? or tons of mad hate?

Just wanna comment one some of those comments, since people seem way to emotional to form a factual opinion about this drama.

without presenting clear and transparent facts

They presented facts, Badawi and Monte broke LCS rules. Now there is no evidence involved in the facts and that's for the better. The evidence is Riot's smoking gun, so of course they're not going to make it public. If it comes down to a lawsuit, you don't release evidence before the hearing. You'd be just handing over your smoking gun so the opposition has enough time to think up something believable to debunk it.

The way I see it, Riot is over stepping their rights.

They are definitely not. It's within their rights to void a contract due to conecerns of misconduct, or breach of contract.

It is dead obvious that Riot is getting back at Monte for his boycott. I somewhat expected Riot to retaliate..... but this... is class: Petty. I really dislike Riot nowadays.

I doubt Riot cares about Monte's boycott, since they have their own team of great casters. But if you wanna wear your tinfoil hat, sure go ahead and knock yourself out.

However, Riot is being excessive here. No prior warning, it's Riot claiming that they evidences, with what's on the stake, not release anything form their investigation

Banning Badawi for a year was not warning enough to all involved parties? Again for the evidence part, see above.

Can't say Monte is clean, but Riot must have something to hide. No reason for them to not to release proper info and yet forcing a team owner to sell the team in 10 days period. yada yada yada

Again the evidence part. Also they must have known sooner that this was going down, since players left the team beforehand.
