Iran says will take drone incident to UN to show US 'lying'

We do, in fact, have enemies in the world and these machines are necessary. If you look into commercial aviation, every nut and bolt is incredibly expensive for regular passenger planes as well. That's because every piece is inspected and documented so that in the case of a failure, you can trace that nut or bolt back to the exact same batch it was made with and recall the other nuts and bolts used in different planes to replace them. With military hardware like a state of the art drone, that process is only intensified.

Like I said, we don't know exactly what's in those drones. But if you look at other, more well known machines and why they cost so much then the price doesn't seem that extreme.
