this happened not too long ago with Microsoft Studios, the gaming division of Microsoft...Universal Windows Platform API...purchasing studios.

The Universal Windows API and windows store are terrible, they prohibits any access to the games, require a specific windows version and introduced a bunch of new problems and offer an overall unpleasant experience.But at least I get to uninstall candy crush every week, because microsoft really wants me to play that. And with their new funding I now won't be able to play Hellblade.
