Lesbians raising a son?

My daughter is 3. She has a friend in nursery who has two mothers. Those parents also have an older son, around 7 or 8, who we’ve seen a few times at drop offs, or in the park, etc.

The mums are great parents. Both kids are really sweet, the older boy has played with his sister and my daughter after nursery, and has always been really kind when doing so, and nothing but polite whenever I’ve met him.

Compared to other boys I’ve seen his age, that kid is an absolute diamond. Comes down to the fact that the parents are loving, attentive, and caring.

If you’re worried about the male role model aspect, I’d suggest that can always come from elsewhere - teacher, uncle, grandparent, friend, tutor, etc.
