Libertarians and Basic Income

Ai and robots promise to create the workers paradise that the socialists always ragged about, but could never deliver. It effectively promises to make every worker a boss and a manager. Social wealth in society comes from production, and AI and robots promise to radically decentralize production, which also implies that they will radically decentralizes social wealth. A lot of the elite don't want this, and so instead propose that they continue to control all the production, while the rest of us get some token allowances that we can spend on their products, called UBI. It's not only stupid, but evil. A slave working in the comfort of the masters big luxurious house, is still a slave.
