Looking for a home in North City: what were the wealthy neighborhoods with the best historic housing stock?

That doesn't answer the question. Seattle has far higher housing costs which causes an inducement, population growth and restrictions on home building both by the government and the environment. St Louis has none of those. You're saying the crime situation in South Seattle is remotely comparable to North St Louis?

I guess the next up and coming neighborhood should really be East St Louis by your logic.

Another SERIOUS problem for your argument is that Paul McKee controls about 1,500 acres of North St Louis. Are you believing he's going to actually develop that land? If not, who do you think buys it when he has to dump it? That's going to be a CRAP load of inventory that needs to be gobbled up.
