LPT: If you're feeling emotionally volatile and/or unable to deal with the stress or challenges of life, you might just need more sleep.

Same/similar (toddler rather than homework age, where we are isn’t really baby-proofable so that time is just spent constantly fielding her from life threatening injury. And then she doesn’t sleep great either.

It’s hard to explain to people that you haven’t had a minute in days, unless you give up those few hours of sleep time. To make it worse work is hectic at the moment so I frequently get no breaks apart from a couple of toilet trips (generally no lunch) and then often working at night when she is asleep as well.
Right now she has made the rare decision to agree to watch a 15 minute tv show calmly while so plays with a couple of toys, so here I am, but she is already starting to kick off.

They’ve agreed to let me have less hours contract soon, it’s the living situation though that is the real kicker. Like, it’s ridiculous to get jealous of people because they’ve got a cupboard to put a broom in so their toddler can’t get the broom, but you just have to just wrestle it away every 2 minutes, but that is life now.
