The DNC loyalists, particularly in the Boomer generation, just don't give a shit.

These people literally watched real time as the Clintons ushered out boxes of evidence from Vince Foster's office hours after his death, all of which mysteriously disappeared and could not be provided when subpoenaed. The Rose Law Firm records they claimed went missing turned up in their private residence 2 years later.

They watched as the Clintons pushed within an inch of full-blown obstruction of justice and famously suffered spontaneous amnesia in testimonies, eventually managing to successfully evade the Whitewater trials, and then pardoning the buddies who took the fall.

They didn't care about it then, and they don't care about it now. The Clintons are literally worshipped at this point by a very large portion of the Democratic party base. The family can do no wrong, and any attack against them, no matter how valid, is just a vast right-wing conspiracy to be ignored.

Fortunately the younger generations aren't so loyal, but unfortunately their distaste for the party establishment also manifests in their lack of party affiliation. As a result they are easily disenfranchised out of the nomination process. I hope that, in the coming election cycles, those young people show the foresight to hold their nose and register for the party, just so that they can influence the nomination and start reclaiming FDR's legacy by purging these third-way corrupt fucks.
