My issue is I do move to the right when I can do so without decreasing my speed and it’s safe to do so. Otherwise I have to lower my speed down to 55-60 to get over-which not only does start creating a back up, but makes the asshole behind me more likely to do some crazy ass driving (like trying to speed around my vehicle using no signals when I’m actually trying to switch lanes with my indicators).

It takes 10 seconds to change, but depending on traffic it may take a minute or so to switch lanes safely in a way that doesn’t slow the left lane down. It’s not like I stay in the left for hours with that person behind me. It’s like a minute at most. Is that an asshole move?
