I don't have anything to offer in terms of proselytization but I just wanted you to know I feel what you wrote in my very soul. I'm just angry with everyone for apparently being retarded, and also myself for not knowing how to make things better, (which I guess makes me the real retard here).

I also feel like there's very few genuine arguments being put forward on either side right now which is only going to make this uglier. People aren't stupid and can tell when someone is hiding their intent. Conservatives can obviously tell they're being set up when a liberal presents an extreme circumstance and asks "so you're in favor of this, right?" And liberals can tell when conservatives feign ignorance of how messy "life of the mother" exceptions can be when looking at how other countries have botched this (Malta, Ireland).
