Men of Reddit, under what circumstances would you lie to a girl you're dating about being "super" interested in her?

Probably some kind of context where I was only interested in her to a normal degree. It'd probably also have to involve some kind of pressure or need or expectation where continuing to progress the relationship seemed to require me to be super interested in her, but without that requirement being a major turn-off that pushed me away.

I'd also probably need to feel some reasonable expectation that I'd likely become super interested in her with a bit more time and bonding. While simultaneously feeling like I couldn't just tell her that AND being OK with the fact that for whatever reason I couldn't communicate that to her (or couldn't without a negative result).

So I think it'd have to be fairly specific and maybe more than a little convoluted.
