Men who had long hair for a period of their lives and then cut it, what made you decide to get rid of it?

Hi! I had long hair for about that same duration, all through my twenties and early thirties. I eventually realized, I didn't really like the way it looked pulled back - or hanging loose. So what did I like about it? Genuinely couldn't think of anything. The kicker was seeing a sad old guy with a long grey ponytail, bald on top.

I had it chopped off and can honestly say I am legitimately more handsome for it, and (you can tell) more confident. It's also much less of a pain in the butt in every way - except you have to keep going out and getting it cut, which *is* a pain, but after months in quarantine, it was just an amazing feeling for a woman to touch my head.
