#metoo and disphoria

I disagree that misandry isn't a thing, and I do think that I had a dislike of men - probably due to unresolved feelings of not feeling like a man - that made me feel shame at myself just for being (rather, thinking I was) a man. I know that there are many real issues regarding women, and I don't mean to imply that they aren't important. The #metoo movement is a fantastic movement because it helps people feel safe speaking up, and it helps people understand how much of a problem sexual misconduct is. But I did feel shame just for being who I was, which I understand is not the purpose of the #metoo movement. Just want to share my own feelings and experiences becuase it's related to what OP is discussing.
