Michael Russell: Theresa May must issue an apology to Scotland. SCOTTISH Brexit secretary Michael Russell has demanded Theresa May apologise after her government was caught “pleading with the EU to do nothing to help Scotland.”

I don't think so; but I have noticed that the argument seems to stem from fear-mongering that EU migrants will sneak into England through the Scottish border (because we're so shit that'll be the only reason immigrants come here). I don't buy into that line of thinking though because it's also the same reason I hear about denying Scotland any autonomy over immigration control in general, which there is a majority support for in Scotland.

I think the conservatives are actively trying to avoid setting any kind of precedent that Scotland could benefit from in the near or far future or giving road maps to the SNP for autonomy within or without the UK.
