You have me wrong. I support my son and partner and our life with one job and we’re doing just fine.

I’m guessing you assumed I’m on the dole/struggling because in your experience you’ve never empathised with anyone, other than someone identical to yourself.

This may come as a shock, but even people who don’t need help, are still aware of the injustices facing those who do. It’s clear that you don’t have a single iota of empathy for anyone who is poor, what a fantastic quality; maybe in your circles people clap you on the back for it, in which case you, might be unaware that, that attitude doesn’t make you out to be a worldly and wise individual. That attitude shows everyone what a sheltered and self-centred life you lead. It also shows how resentful, bitter and unhappy you are.

So you and I can sit in our houses or privilege (because that’s all they are) and I’m 99.9% sure, the one of us who isn’t raging about “dole munchers” (with three jobs…) not having an education is the better parent, partner and person because an aggressive and classist attitude is poisonous; it will have a negative affect on everyone but it’ll have the worst impact on you.
