Most Americans Say This Is Lowest Point in U.S. History in Living Memory

How is that relevant to anyone who wasn't dialed into the news in the 70s? When there was a handful of TV channels and a local newspaper? How is that obviously, factually worse than concentration camps at the border, a pandemic killing 100k+ people with more to come and the most unqualified president in history in office? And we're potentially 1 election away from every civil rights gain we've made over the last 40 years have no chance of surviving a conservative Supreme Court?

I think you are intentionally representing the point of this study in order to make some kind of contrived point about how people are ignorant of civil rights issues throughout modern American history. While you're probably right, it's completely irrelevant to what this study is asking.
