That makes about as much sense as saying that all mothers could end up pulling an Andrea Yates or Susan Smith and killing them.

Admittedly, Andrea Yates was extremely mentally ill and never should have had kids in the first place (her doctors literally advised her that any further pregnancies would further destroy her mental health), yet she and her husband bought into the Quiverfull movement to have as many kids as “God would provide.”

It’s tragic and she was more of a victim of him as the kids were of her. I put less blame on her because these women are literally brainwashed into believing that they should torture themselves for God.
