Moumita Ahmed on Twitter: "Yesterday I was assaulted at the NY delegate meeting by a Hillary supporter. The DNC staffers did nothing except tell me to let it go."

She helped start the Millennials for Bernie Sanders Facbook page. She does deserve credit for being an advocate, but there is a point where it's pushing it too far. In NYC, there were so many sycophants using the campaigns for their careers, she made hers through it. She was at pretty much every possible media event as well as many others.

I'm not mad at people making a name for themselves, but these are the things that angered me about NYC, and I can say this now that the voting is over. Bernie's staff sucked. Do you have any idea how few people actually bothered to canvass the poor areas of NYC? Sure people like this will make the trip to the Bronx, but when no important people or publicity is at stake, very few people were to be found.

BedStuy, East New York, Harlem, parts of Queens. The campaign would give canvassers fewer bits of literature than the number of houses that we were assigned to and do you have any idea how many times they would give me dual turf? These people were also some of the same people from prior states like South Carolina, which were equally bad shitshows.

The real heroes who don't make it in the news were the ones who printed out their stuff on their own dime and went out to the streets in the poor areas of New York. When I was rogue passing out homemade Islamic literature with a muslim canvasser who came from Philly near the biggest mosque in BedStuy, I was pissed to hear so many people say they never heard of Bernie.

Meanwhile, people are doing everything they can to make the lousy news over nothing.
