Well, to be fair, a slap is way better then being cheated on. I’m pretty sure everyone would rather be slapped once, than cheated on by their spouse.

Yes he got physical with her, and yea that’s unacceptable, but let’s not pretend she is a victim of unreciprocated abuse.

Cheating is emotional abuse. She abused him, in a debateably more visceral manner.

With that being said, he was absolutely in the wrong to slap her.

They both were wrong too be honest. We can weigh and compare them too eachother all day and arguments can be made for ad against both.

At the end of the day: she shattered his heart and he physically attacked her.

I think OP’s contention is how everyone is pretty much giving her a free pass because he lost his temper and got physical.

Now before you all downvote me into oblivion, I’m not taking his side at all. Just laying out my observations.
