My (32F) husband (32M) wants our newborn son to get circumcised, and I do not

Blood transfusions, psychiatric care, and vaccines are proven with enough empirical evidence that any doctor would say to get them. (And, probably, the child patient would want them regardless of they're parents' indoctrination.) Circumcision's "evidence" is flimsy enough that even OP's doctor basically just shrugged; it's optional/unnecessary. Her husband's reasons are cosmetic. If it's basically a coin-toss of a decision with one choice being irreversible and easily botched, then yeah, it should be the choice of the person whose body it is.

And gay conversion therapy is getting banned in more and more started because parents have been hoodwinked about it long enough.
