Some points: - he started dating you when you were freshly 18 and he was 26, normal mature 26 year olds who want to settle down won’t go after someone as young as legally possible - he’s likely very immature and doesn’t want to settle down/may have just wanted to use you for physical/emotional intimacy - again, 25+ year old men usually won’t go for 18 year olds to settle down with and if they do there’s usually something quite not right mentally with them - there are occasional circumstances where I may be wrong and they are genuinely good people but I haven’t seen that happen yet - when you become older and eventually 26, think about getting with an 18 year old, it should gross you out - if he’s not thinking of settling down/kids etc at almost 30 he isn’t likely to anytime soon
