Okay I think I have a plan after reading all of this and gathering enough information. tell me if this will work or not. I have my birth certificate, my SSN, my own phone, and my own bank account under my own name from when i was working little part time jobs at fast food places the past year or so. I get credit card offers all the time so it'd be possible for me to get one once needed.

So my plan would be, while i'm still living with them of course since I'd be needing to save. I'd find any sort of job that pays any amount really, hopefully not minimum wage at least so I could speed this up. I'd save up and the first thing I'd do is buy myself a car. Once I get a car, id start saving up and learning how to pay for gas as i go along. The second thing I'd be saving for (keep in mind this is while im living with my parents still so itd be easy for me to save up to leave), is the downpayment+first months rent but in my mind I want to save up enough to at least pay 1-2 years worth of rent/gas money just incase I can't find a job as soon as i think wherever it is that I'd be moving out and can afford to live.

So once I have enough money to live somewhere in a small apartment for at least a year and have car/gas money and actually living on my own at that point, id start saving up and going to community college to get an actual degree in Nursing (which is my dream) so i can actually have a decent salary.

Also i was considering about the credit card stuff, while I'm working/saving up to move out, I could start using a credit card and buying little things here and there so i can start building a good credit by the time i find a place?

Does this plan sound good? I'm hoping I understood how things work so far, im tired of being naive. This is all in hopes of avoiding living in a shelter, and taking advantage of living with my parents to have a place to stay as i save up.

Also yes my internet history is safe, i have my own laptop. And I am a very cheap person, I eat maybe once a day and I have enough makeup/clothes and things to suit me for a few years unless i need something for a job. So As long as i have like maybe 80-90 dollars left over after rent, i can survive in terms of food-clothes etc.

Also i was going to ask, are things like internet, water bills etc seperate from the rent payment?
