I need a little lady inisght on babies...or no babies..

I'm sorry you are having to deal with this and I'm sure the pregnancy hormones are not helping your emotions. I used to be a fence sitter about kids but have now decided I do not want kids. I found that when I was thinking about kids, I only thought about the "hallmark moments." You really need to look past all the warm fuzzy stuff and think of the reality of the situation.

The fist thing you need to think about is daycare. It's expensive, you have to trust someone to watch the baby and some people experience guilt for having their kids in daycare and being away from them so much.

The second thing is insurance for yourself and the baby. If you have medical insurance depending on what plan you have you will have to pay co pays for doctors visit and then pay your deductible for the birth which can be anywhere from $1500-$5000 if not more (it can vary greatly depending on plan.) If you don't have a plan with co pays you will have to meet your deductible for the visits then pay 20%, the deductible can require you to pay like $1500-$5000 (again it can vary greatly) before the insurance starts paying and that's separate from you hospital deductible. Once you have the baby it will need insurance too. If you currently have insurance through your work it can make your insurance go up anywhere from $50-$200 a check if not more depending on how much it goes up and how often you get paid. (I am a plan administrator at my work and basing this info off the plans at my work and assuming you won't qualify for medicaid. Insurance plans are usually high cost with co pays and low deductibles or low cost with high deductibles)

There are countless other things to consider like is this the person you want to have a baby with? How would you handle a special needs baby? Etc. But the main 2 things that deterred me from having a baby were the daycare and insurance. Of course your situation may be totally different if you have family that can provide child care or great medical benefits at your work that are less expensive or qualify for medicaid, but if not these are things to consider.
