New U.S.-bound group of migrants sets off from El Salvador

Jeez, where are all the 'critical thinkers' debating the lamestream media's facts and posing all the hard hitting questions and points like "how ironic the timing" and "who benefits?" and "false flag!!" proclamations?

Obviously the caravan must be filled with right wing paid crisis actors and such, right?

Obviously since this benefits the right wing talking points so close to the midterms it must have been organized, sponsored and populated by right wing US interests in Central America, right?

Oh, no? Oh, so this is pure facts and responsible media reporting and totally something y'all believe. The magabomber was the false flag, the nazi guy was the plant...but this, this is all legit. Got it.

just kidding. I agree, this is legit. The USA spent the past 70 years absolutely wrecking Central America, 'muh both sides' have been pushing and pulling one way or another. Between corporations and govt involvement in 'grrr communsit' narrative, the 'oh no, drugs!!!' narrative, the canal, the beach resorts, the trump hotel mess, all the way to the banana fiasco we have left corruption and few options for many people. CIA trained gangs, american hating gangs, drug gangs, left/right wing political groups, wealthy land owner class...we packed it all into those few thousand sq miles and tried to ignore it.

We should be proud to offer the shelter for the homeless, clothing for the naked and comfort to the broken. America can at least be that much, right? That's what jesus would do, right?

Chances are your ancestors came here on a ship with even more people than this, chances are they were seeking asylum or a better life, chances are they were met at the docks with scorn and people yelling at them. Don't be like the dock people. We have room, open your heart.

if you can't do any of that, at least don't murder the people at the boarder just because fear monger in chief has you all scared. Buck the fuck up. Send the red cross not the military.
