Next Battlefield game is Bad Company 3

I can live with lootboxes if they're just for skins and other aesthetic unlocks but it's the actual gameplay content like weapons, attachment and gear being locked behind an endless grind that has ruined this franchise for me. I don't have hundreds of hours to sink into a single shooter so there's still tons of stuff I've never had a chance to use in BF4, nevermind BF1. I've just come to accept that I'm in the minority and many people seem to prefer that carrot on a stick progression system shoehorned into every BF games these days so I've reluctantly moved on. I got like 10-20 hours out of BF1 before I got sick of using the same 5 weapons and realized I'd never unlock the others because I'm not playing for hours every day
