Right, we're just being ignored because "that's just Florida for you."

Of course, 6 months ago we were trying to warn people about the ridiculous anti-trans, anti-drag, anti-education rhetoric that DeSantis had ratcheted up to 11 for the midterms, and that it would be spreading to other R states soon. And mostly it was met with "That stuff might fly in Florida, but it won't work in the rest of the country." And now how many states have anti-trans and/or anti-drag legislation in the pipeline?

DeSantis himself may or may not get taken down by this grudge match with Trump, but the national GOP is obviously very interested in emulating what he's been doing down here the last couple years, and there are going to be 25-28 state legislatures rushing to either copy or one-up it all as soon as they can.
