Official 2017 r/NFL Top 100 Players (of the 2016 Season) - #1 - Aaron Donald - 4-3 DT - Los Angeles Rams

Call me an idiot, but to me this list and all like it are ultimately meaningless because the only list that matters is who is in the playoffs this upcoming year, the rest is conjecture and speculation. I also chose not to care about lists like this because being a Titans fan is already stressful enough without getting worked up over what some random dudes who aren't fans of the Titans think of my team and its players.

However, y'all put the list out to the world and it is the offseason. So can I not be curious as to what reasoning you had to rank these players as you did?

If the rankers put the list out and think they did a good job and are proud of the list, then they should be ready to defend any single ranking. Regardless of who is asking or why. I mean there are only 100 out of 1,696 players from last season on this list so if you can't tell me in specific terms why a player is above another then why even call yourself rankers?

Thing is you are so caught up that I don't respect your list you didn't answer me. 'Cause I'm not even saying Donald isn't #1 I just don't understand what criteria was used if Donald is 1 and Casey is way down at 97 purely based off the pictures with stats posted. All I was saying is that like mid to early 80s not 97 is a more fair ranking of Casey based off of his stats and contribution to the team. Provide more context and people will respect this shit a lot more.

And come man... You guys put out a list of what seems like basically opinions vaguely mixed with stats when it suits the list. Be ready to defend it to people that do or don't like it or stop trying to rank people. If you think you are right show me some proof not get butt hurt because I don't understand this ranking or don't like your list.

Look, I'm not too proud to be proved wrong. I basically only know a lot about the Tits and I would love to talk to some of y'all about your team's players if you can actually back up your opinion with some reasoning. But I'm also not going to act like this list is anything but offseason filler.
