"Oh, your mom can't be that bad!" [Mostly Rant/Vent]

A quick summary? Geez probably not, but I will try for you good sir. And though I am curious as to how my silly response that was not really relevant to this subreddit blew up slightly I shall proceed since you were so polite :3

Now here is the thing, Carson/Cruz specifically I am just going based on what they say they are going to do and what I think they might do as Conservatives. Remember people change with power, The best men in the world can be corrupted by having the power of government and law on their side. So for me to make predictions only on their character currently would be a mistake even if it is a pretty solid justification for my beliefs. Sure I am still going to vote for them since I have hopes that they won't switch lanes and choose poorly but they still might even become worse than Obama if they so choose. Remember lying is easy.

Before I go into what our next president should do lets step back and look at Obama really quick.

https://danfromsquirrelhill.wordpress.com/2013/08/15/obama-252/

Here are 1,137 well sourced examples of Obama’s lying, lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, hypocrisy, waste, etc.

As for why I personally believe Obama has ruined the country? Well that is easy, He has done everything possible to further bring Big Government into our lives and stomp on our Constitution and Liberties.

I just have one question, if the next president is a Republican is it going to be ok if he doesn't whatever he wants under the pretense of "Executive Order? or He has a pen and a phone?" The Executive branch does not have the Constitutional authority to make laws or legal bindings such as these. (Though Obama is not the only president to use this, keep in mind.)

And from Obama's own words...

People talk about grid-lock in American politics because the parties use to disagree and things would take forever to pass or would not pass at all. Which was actually a good thing though people tend to not think so anymore.

Our States and Local Governments are suppose to be where we are going for most of our laws and policies not a these blanket laws or policies through out the country just because the president is a Democrat or Republican.

Our Founding Father James Madison once said,

"It is to be remembered that the general government is not to be charged with the whole power of making and administering laws. Its jurisdiction is limited to certain enumerated objects."

There is a reason for the Federal Government to have a small amount of power and the rest to lay with the States.

Without trying to go to far, because honestly I could write a huge report on all this but without going to far into his specific issues such as Marriage, Immigration, Foreign Policy, The Debt, Ect.

Ultimate the major problem with Obama is that he has expanded the Federal Government even further and increased are debt to such a price we will probably never pay it back. Our future generations have been stolen from by the current generation. We have stolen so much money from the future in the name of generosity and yet we have no intention of paying it back but leaving it to "future generations."

And yet I have not seen to many show claims of how greedy this is.

I have not even gotten into what I believe the next president should do but I shall stop here anyway. If you really want me to continue I will or if you have any more questions I will answer. But I might have already written more than a quick summary I am afraid. But I will leave you with a few quotes before I sign off on this.

“Society will develop a new kind of servitude which covers the surface of society with a network of complicated rules, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate. It does not tyrannise but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.”

--Alexis De Tocqueville

“The masterminds and their flatterers are progressively immune to regular democratic processes and pressures, such as elections and citizen lobbying, unless, of course, the electoral results and policy demands comport with their own governing objectives. Otherwise, they have an escalating preference for rule by administrative regulation, executive decree, and judicial fiat as the ends justifies the means.”

--Mark Levin

“Government has three primary functions. It should provide for military defense of the nation. It should enforce contracts between individuals. It should protect citizens from crimes against themselves or their property. When government-- in pursuit of good intentions tries to rearrange the economy, legislate morality, or help special interests, the cost come in inefficiency, lack of motivation, and loss of freedom. Government should be a referee, not an active player.”

--Milton Friedman
