Ok CBSA... apparently all Tikka CTR owners are criminals for owning a prohibited magazine.

The CBSA has historically used student Officers (through the Federal Student Work Experience Program) to bolster its ranks during times of increased pressure.

I would imagine that in this time of border closures, people are ordering much more through the mail and inundating their postal processing centres.

Cue a bunch of post-secondary students to come along and deal with low-risk packages while the trained people deal with the likes of fentanyl and a growing list of synthetic poisons being smuggled.

Inexperienced students + capacity issues + minimal oversight = a perfect recipe for errors.

You’ll be granted the appeal in short order unless there’s some other firearm that Tikka made that magazine to fit into that happens to be semi-auto.

$hit happens. Too bad it’s going to cause you to waste your time proving your case to them though.
