As you get older and realized how bad Soda is, do you still drink it?

Do you ever get cravings for something sweet?

No. Not at all. If you have a "craving" (emotional / irrational) for something that you know it's bad for you (rational thinking), it's not a question of replacing the bad stuff with something else, if you do so... the craving NEVER goes away. That's why soda companies have diet sodas and that's why e-cigarettes have nicotine.

Read this book: https://www.amazon.com/Waistland-evolutionary-Fitness-Evolutionary-Science-ebook/dp/B000W7KNDK you'll understand (rational thinking) what the food industry is doing to maximize their profits (at the cost of people's health).

I prepare 99% of what I eat: everything is a "treat", and .. a healthy one.

I am not saying it's FAST! It took you years/decades to be "addicted" to what is that you are addicted (read the book). Prepare as much as you can of your meals, you know what's not good for you and what is is (e.g.: ingredients, not prepared foods; and something that you can promounce); and keep thinking what flavors/food you like LOVE.

Ever had an 8oz filet mignon cooked with a Sous-vide machine?
