Is causing yourself to have a bad stomach good for weightloss?

Having stomach issues is a great way to not get the necessary nutrients (which hurts your health) and disrupt your gut microbiome (which can lead to autoimmune issues).

Yes it can lead to weight loss in the same way chemo can lead to weight loss, but it is NOT a good thing. I have IBS and have read a ton of papers about the impacts of a disrupted gut, and it all leads to autoimmune problems, and increased risks for various diseases because your body is stressed and inflamed.

Please take care of your body and yourself and don’t subscribe to diet culture where the only thing that matters is weight loss and not the actual health of your body.
