PC and Console skill gap?

You will hear about this "huuuge skill gap from concieted pc players"

It doesnt exist and heres why, the skill gap in a competitive game has nothing to do with your chosen platform it all comes down to the individual, your own skill and how good you are is something that surpasses wether you are using a mouse or joystick

Now dont get me wrong its true that a mouse can make faster and broader strokes and is generally better for aiming, however it does not aim for you, if your bad your bad a mouse wont help that.

Pc players like to pretend that having a mouse makes them inherently better at aiming, if this was true everyone on pc wpuld be extremely skilled, yet thats not the case at all not by a long shot

Another reason this so called skill gap is nonsense is because overwatch is a team game that relies on far more than your ability to aim, in fact most of the time the only thing that matters is your positioning and ability to utilise your role, for example you may finish and win a match as reinhardt but have barely any elims, simply because you spemt more time protecting your team

Joysticks may be harder to aim with but for people who have spent years doing that its as easy as riding a bike, you will hear ludicrous phrases on this group such as "grandmaster on console is silver on pc" yeah let that level of retardedness sink in...

There are skilled players on both platforms, hell ive seen kephrii level widows on console, sure joysticks may not be best but it doesnt mean you cant master them just like you have to master a mouse
