“People with ADHD are typically very low in conscientiousness and so it’s crucial for them to find work they have a genuine interest in if they wish to perform well”

I’m adhd and my first job was at wendys and it gave me a bad expectation on jobs, this one I had a lot of friends there, the managers were really cool even through my psychosis part in my life where I couldn’t come in to work for 2 days, and I’m a stoner and all the people there were stoners too and we competed in friendly competitions to see who was better at a position so everyone would try hard their position to see which group of workers on certain positions can close fastest and we would give the info to the managers so we could make everyone’s life’s easier for who could close the fastest, normal time is 30 minutes after close and our fastest was 5 minutes after close (for alll cleaning the be cleaned properly and everything is ready for the next day). That’s a lot of work. We were a real team

Then I realized when I quit, other fast food workers don’t have that much passion for their job.
