It’s kids with heart problems who need this vaccine more than almost any other pediatric group. A teen relative just went into the hospital for the 3rd time since catching covid (spring 2021, before he could be vaxxed). He is in a known high cardiac risk group (my son shares the same genetic condition) but he had no heart issues prior to covid and even played on his high school football team. Now they’re talking possible heart transplant down the road.

Those of us with high risk kids will protect our kids. We know the data. Our specialists know the data. Leave your own kids unvaxxed - idgaf - but stop telling people it doesn’t work or isn’t worth the risk of mild and transient myocarditis. It won’t protect your kid from the sniffles - cry me a river - but it may well protect my kid from death.
