He’s doctrinally correct but only in how he set up his sentence grammatically. According to the book of James, any one sin can keep you out of heaven. If a man keeps all the law but stumbles in one point he is guilty of all. The point of the passage is to say that every single person needs a savior and no one sin taints you more than another. So, a heterosexual sin taints you at the same level as a homosexual sin. That being said, being heterosexual isn’t why you get into heaven so his argument isn’t wrong, it’s just misleading to say that if you’re either homosexual or heterosexual you’re not getting into heaven as if sexuality doesn’t matter scripturally.
