My (now) husband and I got pregnant 4 years into our relationship just after we bought a home together and I can really relate to everything you wrote. I was on the pill so it was a complete surprise. I'm 100% pro choice but ultimately we decided to become parents and I have to say that I've got zero regrets. More than anything we struggled financially for the first couple of years, but if I had to go back I'm sure I'd make the same choice again. Sometimes things in life don't end up how we plan them, and every once in a while our plans going off the rails ends up amazing.
