Zimmer: if we don’t pick the right QB, I’ll probably get fired

The goal is to win a Super Bowl and as we saw this season, without a franchise QB we will not win a goddamn thing no matter how good this defense plays. We have Smith, Rhodes, Griffen, Waynes, Kendricks and Hunter who will all be staying. Losing one elite defender when the rest of your defense is elite will not all of a sudden make our defense bad. Good QB play wins championships, not defense unless youre an all time great defense and sorry to break it to you, we do not have an all time great defense, we may not even have the best defense in the league (Jaguars make a great case).

We need to a franchise QB and if we don't get one this defense will have gone to waste.
