The problem about how we want development in this country...

I think you are well intentioned, so I will bait.

Go ahead.

Firstly, the BJP being elected in the centre has nothing to do with Law and Order - it is a state subject. Problem is, fanboys of the <BJP HATER CLUB> don't recognise this. Was Dadri a blot on our name? Yes. But who is accountable? Akhilesh. Was Akhilesh held to task? No. UP tops in homicides, and again, do you see it / hear about it in the news? No. Why is a UP or Bihar considered lawless but a state like TN or Guj or Maha has much better law and order? Because...state administrations.

Yeah, that is an excuse! They are like, "UP and Bihar is lawless anyways. So why worry? It was always like that!"

And Maha was more lawful pre-BJP too. TN hasn't even elected the BJP.

Secondly, if you live in an apartment complex, get 6 random uncles together, or better watch one of those annual general body meetings. If there are only 3 people, each will disagree with the other till they all turn blue in the face.

Hehe. Instead of finding solutions through compromise, everyone wants an exact solution of THEIR agenda and are not ready to accept mistakes even when they are blatantly wrong. Compromise is now a dirty word. It used to be in the USA that both parties worked together. Not against each other.

Now extrapolate it to a 1.3 Bn people.

Of course.

IT WILL TAKE TIME, Moorkh! One cannot expect results (from any govt) in such areas such as Law and order in 6 months, unless one is somebody who is disconnected to reality.

Wrong. You can at least have some strides. Excuses are excuses. I understand lets say a week is unreasonable. But 6 months is totally reasonable to make laws and put some enforcement. Change afterwards will take time once people themselves get badly bit by good enforcement.

This is not Mudalvan the movie.

This is not 1999 either. Technology exists.
