Problems with the Bible and thoughts about the Quran

Lol there you are, I saw your comment on another post, and was replying to it, and then you deleted your comment and I typed all this, so I saved it to my clipboard, didn't think I'd see your comment here, but this response below is to your deleted comment. thanks.

apostasy crisis? That is false, the religion is rapidly growing by conversion rates, source pewresearch or something. At the same time people are leaving the religion but that happens all the time in all faiths, there's no death penalty for apostasy that's misinformation being spread by anti islamists.

The Quran does not say the earth is flat, that is false.

79:30

وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ ٣٠

As for the earth, He spread it out as well,[1] — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

[1] The Arabic verb daḥa also suggests that the earth is egg-shaped. The noun form diḥya is still used in some Arab dialects to mean an egg. Based on 2:29, 41:9-12, and 79:27-33, Allah ordained both realms, then formed the earth and created its provisions, then formed the heaven into seven heavens—all in six ˹heavenly˺ Days. See footnote for 7:54.

36:40

It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor does the night outrun the day. Each is travelling in an orbit of their own. — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

21:33

And He is the One Who created the day and the night, the sun and the moon—each travelling in an orbit. — Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
